Hereinafter referred to as “Owner”,
The owner of the horse(s) and the manager of the rearing facility hereby agree as follows:
- By stable your horse with us you agree at all times to our general terms and conditions, which can also be found on our website www.stalkleiweg.nl
- Horses are at your own risk at all times.
- manager rearing assumes that the horse(s) will remain with them in rearing for the period up to and including October in the year that the horse is 2 years old. In any other case, the owner must indicate this in advance or otherwise a notice period of 2 months applies before departure date. Owner is aware of the fact that pick-up in the middle of summer is not possible due to unrest in the group.
- The owner had the horse dewormed and trimmed upon arrival.
He also declares that at the time of arrival at the rearing farm the horse comes from a disease-free stock and does not carry any contagious diseases.
Upon arrival, the passport must be left behind. This is for the purpose of recording annual vaccinations and other medical treatments. - the costs of rearing.
All prices are subject to possible price increases/inflation correction.
Invoices are sent quarterly in advance. Payment within 14 days of invoice date.
Winter is the period in which the horses are stabled, summer is the period in which the horses are outside. (For current prices, see the price list, which is always leading.) - The amounts mentioned include:
Winter:
• Group housing put together by the manager
• Feed: unlimited silage and hay, and concentrated feed as needed (foals are given foal pellets).
• Straw
• Mucking out
• Maintaining the general condition of the horse
Summer:
• Grazing in groups whose composition and size can vary
• Feed consisting of pasture (grass), water and, if necessary, hay or silage
• Limited form of supervision
• Maintaining the general condition of the horse
• Well-maintained pastures
- The amounts mentioned are exclusive of:
• Veterinary costs
• Farrier
• Deworming/manure testing
• Special food
• Vaccinations
• Hospital and care (2 euros per day extra on the monthly rate)
• Insurance costs
• Dentist costs
• etc. - The rearing manager ensures that the horse is correctly dewormed, trimmed and vaccinated during the entire rearing period. All this in good consultation with the farrier and veterinarian. The costs for this are passed on to the owner of the horse. Registration of vaccinations is only made when the passport is present.
- The summer pasture season runs from early May to early October. The period may be shorter or longer. Depending on the weather.
- In the event of an outbreak of any serious infectious disease, the owner is requested not to come to the farm during the recovery period.
- The owner is aware that putting a horse in the rearing system involves risks. The rearing manager therefore advises the owner to insure the horse if necessary. The owner is aware that he is liable as owner for damage to third parties, the rearing manager can never be held responsible for any death, theft, damage and/or illness of the horse(s)/foal(s).
- The rearing manager cannot be held liable in any way for accidents and/or illness in the broadest sense of the word. Where this/these stabled horses is/are involved and with regard to persons who are not authorized by him in writing, and who are in the vicinity of this horse or his horses. The owner of the horse places the horse in the rearing at Stal Kleiweg (VOF Tuinenga Landbouw) entirely at his own risk.
- if payment of invoice is not made on time, the statutory interest costs will be charged for this. And if necessary, collection will follow with the associated costs.
